LitPet has launched Meaty Mix, a new range of functional nutritional pastes for cats and dogs based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
The UK-made, grain-free pastes are veterinary-developed and designed to be administered daily as a treat or food topper. The range is packaged in pouches containing 10 individual sticks with a recommended retail price of £12.00.
The collection consists of four targeted SKUs:
- Bone Boost and Joint Care: Formulated with 30mg Ovopet eggshell, 75mg Type II collagen, glucosamine, and turmeric. It is intended for senior pets, breeds prone to joint issues, and kittens or puppies in growth phases.
- Digest Well: Uses lactose-free goat milk and reishi mushroom to support gut flora and immune health.
- Pawsitive Calm: Contains bovine colostrum powder, calcium caseinate (Lactium®), and L-theanine to manage anxiety without sedation.
- Urinary Guard: A duck-flavoured paste featuring cranberry extract, astragalus, and ginkgo leaf to support pets prone to urinary issues.
The launch follows a successful year for the company, which received the Gold Award for Best New Business and a Silver Award for Best New Health Product at the 2025 PetQuip Awards.
Stephen Hu, director of LitPet, said: “Meaty Mix sticks allow customers to introduce our Traditional Chinese Medicine herbal supplements to their pets in an affordable and treat format.
“We are getting so much positive feedback for Meaty Mix, and we have already experienced sell-outs. We continue to supply our supplement powders in tubs, and with the addition of Meaty Mix, we are now able to offer a selection of options to fit any size of pet and budget.”
