Waita Pets has introduced five new freeze-dried and air-dried treat products for cats and dogs following its debut at PATS 2025.

The new additions form part of its growing range of single-ingredient and minimally processed pet foods.

The new products are freeze-dried quail egg yolk, whole quail, beef liver cubes, dried duck blood and capelin.

All items use freeze-drying technology to preserve nutrients and avoid high-heat processing or artificial preservatives.

The freeze-dried quail egg yolk treats are made from whole egg yolks and are available in 70g and 200g packs.

Whole quail treats, made from the entire bird including meat, bone and organs, come in 30g and 300g pack sizes.

Beef liver cubes are produced from 100% beef liver and sold in 60g and 600g packs. The dried duck blood product, a blend of duck blood, breast and liver, is available in 50g and 600g formats and was a finalist in the Best New Treat category at the 2025 Pet Industry Federation Awards.

The capelin product uses whole freeze-dried fish containing naturally occurring calcium and Omega-3 oils, sold in 40g and 300g packs.

Waita Pets said: “The new lines reflect increased demand for limited-ingredient treats and products that can be used for training or meal enrichment.”
