Pet supplement company LitPet has won two awards at the 2025 PetQuip Awards, receiving silver in the Best New Product (Healthcare and Grooming) category and gold for Most Promising New Business Start-Up.

The firm’s winning product, Pawisitve Powder, is a calming supplement that combines traditional herbal ingredients such as schisandra and valerian with clinically tested compounds including Lactium and DHA.

Founded by Stephen Hu, LitPet develops supplements based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles, aimed at addressing the underlying causes of stress-related conditions in animals.

Hu was inspired to establish the company after losing his cat to a stress-related illness.

LitPet produces supplements to support areas including stress reduction, immunity, detoxification and cardiovascular health.

Products are manufactured in GMP-certified UK facilities, free from artificial additives, and undergo third-party testing. Packaging is FSC-certified and fully recyclable.

The company also exhibited at this year’s PATS trade show at the NEC, attracting interest from wholesalers, distributors and retailers.

Hu said: “Our mission is to address the root causes of stress-related health issues by combining Eastern herbal knowledge with modern veterinary science. We want to help pets live healthier, more balanced lives.”
