Dog food producer the Innocent Hound has launched a new collection of air-dried, grain-free meals containing 85% meat or fish.
The range, called From the British Countryside, includes three single-protein recipes: British venison with blackberries and mushrooms; British lamb with rosehips and chamomile; and Atlantic salmon with kelp and dill. Each recipe is finished with raw British honey.
The company, based in Yorkshire, said the products respond to rising demand for natural, high-protein foods for pets. Founder Chloe Heaton said the collection “reflects our passion for creating nutritious, convenient meals that celebrate British provenance while supporting dogs’ health and wellbeing”.
The foods are sold in 1kg resealable bags, with redesigned packaging intended to improve shelf visibility. Recommended retail prices are £32 for the salmon and lamb variants and £42 for the venison option.
The new range will be showcased at the PATS trade exhibition, where retailers will be able to place orders through the Innocent Hound trade website.
