Raw pet food company Naked Dog has launched a limited run of personalised packaging across independent pet shops in the UK.
The initiative features 200 sleeves on packs of its beef raw dog food, each printed with one of the country’s 20 most common dog names, from Arlo to Yogi. The sleeves will be available in stores for four weeks.
Owners who find a sleeve matching their dog’s name are being encouraged to share photos on Instagram, tagging the retailer and Naked Dog. Entries will be placed into a prize draw for a dog-friendly weekend away.
Rachel Duffy, commercial director at Naked Dog, said: “Independent pet shops are at the heart of what we do. This initiative is about celebrating dogs, engaging with our community, and driving footfall to the amazing independent retailers who support our brand.”
The company, a member of the Pet Industry Federation, said the campaign is designed as a light-hearted way to highlight both raw feeding and the role of local pet shops.
