Jollyes has announced that it has partnered with fresh cat food brand KatKin to become its largest retail partner to date.

As a result, KatKin products have now officially launched in 80 Jollyes stores across Britain, and the range will include six different recipes, plus variety packs.

The partnership comes as Jollyes completes the nationwide roll-out of frozen food shop-in-shops across nearly all its stores.

KatKin’s in-store launch coincides with Jollyes’ ‘big cat takeover’, an expansion of its cat ranges that has already boosted like-for-like sales by 19% month-on-month, with sales volumes up 38%.

Frozen food continues to be a powerful growth driver, with Jollyes reporting a 25% sales rise in the past 13 weeks.

Louise Fawcett, buying manager at Jollyes, said: “We want to make Jollyes the ultimate destination for cat-owners across the UK, which is why we’re so thrilled to be bringing Katkin’s fresh cat meals to stores across Britain.”

“Whether you’re a seasoned cat carer or having kittens at the responsibility of looking after your fur baby, Jollyes is the place to go – both for our colleagues’ unrivalled expertise and our fantastic, affordable and rapidly expanding product range.”

Feiyang Yang, business development principal at KatKin, added: “We make every KatKin recipe with the same care, love and science we want for our own cats. And see time and time again how switching to fresh provides meaningful and lasting change to cat health and happiness. This partnership with Jollyes means more cat parents across the UK can discover just how transformative a fresh diet can be.”
