Scottish pet retailer wins business award for third year running

A Scottish pet retailer has won the ‘Best Montrose Business’ gong at the Angus Business Awards for the third year running.

Montrose Pet Shop, has now been entered into the finals of the national competition as a result of the win, with awards based on customer votes. Owner Yvonne Will said: “I did not expect to win it again this year, I am just overwhelmed that we have won it again.

“We’re always here to help and are very friendly. We always have time for our customers, not like in a supermarket. A lot of them are friends now, and there are times when I’m like, I cannot get my work done or place orders because they want to have a chat.

She added: “We all work really well as a team. I’ve promised them that to celebrate, we’ll attend the finals in Glasgow next year, we did not attend the finals the last two years, but as this is our third win, this time we will.”
