Bay Vets has become part of Linnaeus, a veterinary group in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Joining Linnaeus will provide further investment into its sites and people, to ensure the group continues to offer the “best possible care” for you and your pets.

Bay Vets’ team will be able to access “high-quality” teaching and mentoring from a community of highly “experienced” colleagues.

Linnaeus is also supporting the group’s plans to relocate to a new main site in Lancaster, so it can look after more pets across Morecambe Bay for years to come.

The Bay Vets’s team will continue in their roles and deliver the same services, led by clinical directors Katie Kyle and Colin Houston.

In 2021, Bay Vets introduced a night nursing team, supported six of its vets gaining certificates in medicine and surgery and grew its referral services. Additionally, in 2023, the group’s Milnthorpe team relocated to new premises on Park Road.

Founded in 2014, Linnaeus has grown to become one of the most highly-respected veterinary groups in the UK and Ireland offering specialist referral services as well as primary care across our family of practices.
