H&H Group launches Zesty Paws in UK and Europe

Zesty Paws plans to continue an omnichannel approach in these markets to further increase its market share

Global family nutrition company H&H Group is broadening its pet nutrition and care presence with the launch of pet supplement brand, Zesty Paws, in the UK and Europe.

Launched in Florida in 2014, Zesty Paws was acquired by H&H Group in August 2021, signifying the group’s continued growth into pet health and wellness following its earlier acquisition of holistic pet nutrition brand Solid Gold in 2020.

In March, Zesty Paws launched eight products on Amazon in the UK, France, Italy and Germany. In addition, the brand has launched into 457 Pets at Home stores and Zooplus, Europe’s largest pet e-commerce platform across 30 countries.

Zesty Paws plans to continue an omnichannel approach in these markets to further increase its market share.
This vet-formulated premium range is derived from the “top-selling” products of the original line, tailor-made to meet the specific needs of dogs in the UK and European markets.

Zesty Paws uses ingredients, including key active components, to ensure effective products for optimal health and wellness.

Produced in Europe, these products are B-Corp certified in the UK and France, helping to address common dog health concerns in this region such as allergies, mobility, urinary care, calming, digestion, and joint health.
Over the next one to two years, the brand will focus on leveraging innovation to enhance the product portfolio and further drive consumer share and growth across the UK and Europe.

Zesty Paws’ products are developed by H&H Group’s in-house team of scientists and vets and target a wide variety of “needy states” in a soft-chew format.

According to the group, this format makes the supplements “more appetising” for pets versus other formats such as capsules or pills.

Akash Bedi, current Rotating Group CEO and CEO of North America, Europe, Middle East and India at H&H Group, said: “The introduction of Zesty Paws in the UK and Europe marks a major milestone in the global expansion of our pet nutrition and care segment, providing pet parents with the tools to enhance their pets’ holistic health through efficacious supplements trusted by veterinarians worldwide.

“Zesty Paws is excited to join the booming European pet nutrition market, estimated to be worth $441m within the next 10 years, and contribute to the growing focus on pet health and wellness and science backed products across the continent.”
