Pets Choice has announced the appointment of Chris Keithtley as its new export business unit controller.

He has extensive knowledge having been in the industry for over 18 years developing partnerships worldwide for businesses such as Petface, Leisuregrow and Gardman.

Tony Raeburn, Pets Choice CEO, said: “I am delighted that Chris Keithley is going to lead our international markets, bringing with him excellent skills and tremendous motivation to maximise our growth. During his career, he has gained significant experience in the pet industry and international sales. He will be a great addition to the business.”

Keithtley added: “I am looking forward to leading the Pets Choice export team and am passionate about bringing our innovative products to pet owners across the globe. The business is in a really strong position, so it is a great time to join.”

It comes after the company announced it had agreed a deal with Pets’ Kitchen for its premium pet food brand, Vet’s Kitchen.

The Vet’s Kitchen brand, which primarily operates in dry dog and cat food, joined Pets Choice’s family of pet brand offerings, which include Webbox, Bob Martin and Felight.

A long-term collaboration agreement between the two companies will continue in support of both the Vet’s Kitchen and Vet’s Klinic operations.
