German premium pet food producer The Nutriment Company has acquired Scottish raw dog food maker Totally Natural Pet Products (TNPP) for an undisclosed amount.
The Nutriment Company stated that the acquisition expands its premium, natural pet food portfolio and is also expected to bolster the brand’s presence in Central Europe.
TNPP produces raw food and natural treats for dogs at its facility near Glasgow. For over 30 years the company is known for its human-grade meat sourcing, convenient portioning for consumers, and 100% natural approach to formulation. All TNPP products are free from artificial additives, grains and fillers.
The transaction which is expected to close by the end of April, will see TNPP join The Nutriment Company’s expansive portfolio of pet industry brands, which include: AniForte, Barfgold, Carnibest, Dibo, Energique, Leo and Wolf, Nova, Nutriment, Oscar and Rauh.
The Nutriment Company said: “We are happy to announce that we have signed a binding agreement to acquire Totally Natural Pet Products (TNPP), a renowned Scottish raw dog food manufacturer with over 30 years of experience and a unique, all natural free-flow product that was thus far missing from our product offering.
