Rosewood Pet Products has announced it has raised £2,000 for Severn Hospice when it hosted its first charity sample sale at its headquarters in Hortonwood, Telford.
All of its sample stock was sold, including dog and cat bedding, pet toys, training products, novelty Christmas jumpers and a selection of products for aquatic and small animals.
Severn Hospice fundraising manager, Lucy Ruff, said: “We cannot thank Rosewood Pet Products enough for raising £2,000 for us, we have to raise £2 for every £3 we spend so their brilliant efforts means our caring teams can be there for even more families who need our help.”
Bev Panter, marketing director at Rosewood Pet Products, added: “We’re thrilled with how well the sample sale went, it’s the first time we have opened our doors to customers so we were impressed to see people were queuing outside the doors before we opened.
“We have donated all the proceeds to Severn Hospice, as we want to support the fantastic work that they do locally. We also set aside some toys and beds for Hilbrae Dog Kennels who take in stray and unwanted dogs.”
