W’Zis has unveiled a range of new plant based dog training treats named Wowzers.

The company took its Postman and Roast treats, added a scent, reduced the size by half and have a smoky bacon flavour.

The treats are made from sweet potato, tomato and pumpkin with a natural smoked flavour.

They are also less than one calorie per treat with zero sugar and low fat as well as grain and gluten free.

Douglas Thackway, founder of Doug’s Dogs, said: “Wowzers are … ‘wowzers’! The pups in our training sessions love them. We get through loads of treats and owners are always concerned about dogs getting overweight. Wowzers are tiny vegan treats with less than 1 calorie. They’re super tasty so high value and motivating; they’re just the right size for very young pups and easy enough to chew quickly to get training reps in. They’re a hit!”
