Welsh pet food company, Burns Pet Nutrition, has announced the winner of its competition to win a year’s supply of free dog food, in celebration of its 25th anniversary as a business.
Four-year-old Border Collie Jasper, from Oxfordshire, is the latest winner of the competition, after his owner found a golden ticket in one of the company’s pet food bags. Jasper’s owner, Libby Mulvey, will receive a a twelve-month supply of Burns Pet food for their pet.
Mulvey said: “Jasper has been on Burns ever since he was a puppy and absolutely loves the food. He wolfs down his dinner every day so it’s great news for both of us that we got a golden ticket. As Jasper is very toy orientated, the money saved over the next year will be spent on getting him some more doggy accessories he’ll love.”
To mark the anniversary, the family firm has released limited-edition vintage look bags, with some containing golden tickets. As many as 23 golden tickets are currently still yet to be found across the UK, with the campaign due to run until all tickets are discovered.
The winning tickets are hidden in promotional bags of Burns Original Chicken & Brown rice variety, which can be purchased from independent pet shops across the UK as well as online retailers such as Zooplus.
The competition comes as Burns Pet Nutrition announced a £1m charity donation to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
