UK-based fresh cat food brand KatKin has launched its pantry product range on Ocado Retail.
KatKin was founded by siblings Brett and Nikki O’Farrell in 2018, and following its Series A funding round in 2022, Ocado has become the group’s first retail partner.
Its ambient range of pantry products features a UK-first health-monitoring cat litter with colour-changing silica crystals and freeze-dried treats with human-quality salmon fillet and chicken breast.
Meanwhile, its convenient subscription service delivers vet-formulated, fresh food recipes across the UK and has reached over 200,000 cats since launch.
Each recipe is made with 100% real meat and no fillers, grains or preservatives.
Charlotte Fox, head of Commercial at KatKin, said: “We are so excited about our collaboration with Ocado — KatKin’s first retail partnership to date.
“This is pivotal to our mission of improving the lives of cats across the UK, giving them the quality they deserve. In partnering with one of the UK’s leading grocery retailers, we will be reaching even more cat parents with our incredible range of pantry products that we know their cats will love.”
Meri La Bella, pet buyer at Ocado Retail, added: “Ocado has more choice than any other supermarket and we’re always looking to extend our range with new and innovative products our customers will love.
“KatKin is a game-changing brand for cat owners – its fresh and high quality products are sure to be popular with our customers looking for something new and we’re delighted to be supporting this fantastic challenger brand so early in its journey.”
