Book Your Pet has launched a new charity initiative to support Pumpkin and Friends, a charity that provides assistance for disabled dogs.

Their aim is to raise £1,000 to fund five free wheelchairs that will transform the lives of dog’s with disabilities similar to Pumpkin’s.

Over the next two months, Book Your Pet will be hosting some virtual and in-person activities to raise awareness of Pumpkin and Friends, and to encourage people to show their support in raising funds.

Activities will include a seven-day social media photo challenge and a very special wheelchair race at DogFest at Knebworth House in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

Liam Marshall, Book Your Pet marketing manager, said: “We’re so proud to be supporting Pumpkin and Friends and hope we can raise enough money to change their lives. This campaign is only a small part of the incredible work that Pumpkin, her mum Tammie
and the rest of the Pumpkin and Friends team do on a daily basis.

“They’re showing that having a disability doesn’t have to be the end for our pets and changing the mindset of pet parents around the world.Your support is incredibly valuable and whether you’re able to make a monetary donation, or even just helping to spread the word and raise awareness that having a disability isn’t a death sentence, it’s the beginning of a new adventure, we’re incredibly grateful for your support.”
