Norwood aquarium has announced that it has taken on the UK distribution for French pet company Giganterra.
The Surrey-based distributor has now adopted the full range of GiganTerra products, covering about 200 stock keeping units.
The company will distribute a wide range of products including ornaments, feed bowls, plants, terrariums, accessories and other products.
Norwood will also take on Gigan Aqua, GigaBird and GigaMouse brands as distributors.
This marks a step into the reptile sector for Norwood after 60 specialising in aquariums.
Sam Street, sales manager, said: “Norwood Aquarium have been operating in the Aquatic Trade for 60 years, we have made the decision to venture into the reptile market as a lot of aquatic based stores have expanded into having reptile areas and we also believe we can bring our first class level of service and support into the reptile industry.
“Along with GiganTerra we also have exclusivity of the GiganAqua Range (Launched in late 2021). And also GigaBird and GigaMouse which we will be launching later this year.”
Giganterra is a French pet company which specialises in products for reptiles and birds as well as aquatic pets.
