Earth Animal becomes certified B corporation
Earth Animal was established in 1979 with the aim of converting conventional veterinary medicine to an integrative and holistic approach focusing on the whole animal

Pet health and wellness company Earth Animal has announced that it has achieved B corporation certification.
The company stated that B Corp Certification was a way to “advance the brand’s core values” and “demonstrate its commitment to positive impact, transparency and integrity”.
Earth Animal achieved the certification in part through its long-established
commitment to use 1% of its annual net sales to invest in a more sustainable future by funding initiatives to improve its positive impact, and donating to mission-driven organisations that need it most.
Stewart Shanley, Earth Animal CEO, said: “Joining the global B Corp community is recognition that our evolving standards of excellence in every department are joining like-minded companies taking significant steps towards making impact-driven
business mainstream.
“As a company, we have long operated in accordance with these values. B Lab’s recognition of these practices amplifies our purpose and our progress towards the goals we set out to achieve.”
Susan Goldstein, Earth Animal co-founder, added: “As a Certified B Corporation in the pet industry, we are thrilled to be counted among businesses that are leading a global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy. By achieving this long-standing goal, we are proud to join an elite community of our peers that consistently value people, animals, and the planet alongside profit.”
