Pets Corner’s Scampers store announced it has donated essential items such as food, clothing and beds to Ukraine.
The retailer said with the situation in Ukraine ongoing, it’s been “touching” to see communities come together to offer support.
According to Scampers, its store team collected £1,000 worth items to send off to Ukraine. Residents from in and around Soham also turned up to donate tents, clothes, sleeping bags and even medicines to the people of Ukraine.
The retailer said everyone worked “exceptionally” hard at getting the lorry packed with these donations and supplies. The whole community came together, and the day was described by manager Chris as a “heart-warming and humbling experience”.
