Jollyes opens new store in Newtownabbey

It opens as the retailer reveals plans to invest £325k in Northern Ireland to open new stores and support ‘key’ suppliers across the island of Ireland

Jollyes has announced the opening of its brand-new store at Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland.

It revealed Jollyes’ new Newtownabbey store is only the third in Northern Ireland to feature a Pamper and Groom Spa.

The new store at 2 Longwell Road, Newtownabbey is replacing the Jollyes site at Glengormley and will create five new jobs.

According to Jolleys, it opens as the retailer reveals plans to invest £325k in Northern Ireland to open new stores and support “key” suppliers across the island of Ireland.

Key suppliers Mackle Petfoods from County Armagh and Belfast-based Frozzys will also have “special displays” at the opening showing customers how they partner with Jollyes to provide their “high quality” ranges to the store.

Laura Hadden, regional manager for Jollyes in Northern Ireland and Scotland, said: “We’re going to be working around the clock between now and Saturday to get the store up and running and we look forward to welcoming customers new and old alike in our new Newtownabbey location.”

Jollyes will also open a brand-new store in Cookstown next year as it “steps up” its presence in Northern Ireland.
