Skinner’s Pet Foods has announced the appointment of Dr Jaqueline Boyd, who joins the team based in Stradbroke, Suffolk as its new nutritional consultant.
Dr Jacqueline Boyd joins the Skinner’s team after nearly 11 years at Nottingham Trent University as a lecturer in Animal and Equine Science. Boyd spent 25 years studying and working within animal science and will be ensuring that Skinner’s products have a thorough theoretical and practical base.
Boyd said: “I feel hugely privileged to join Skinner’s at what is clearly an exciting time for the company. I am passionate about animal health and wellbeing and applying robust and current scientific principles and findings at all times to enhance and promote exactly that.
“This is a hugely exciting opportunity for me to support the ongoing success of Skinner’s through employing my theoretical and practical skills and expertise in animal nutrition, canine science and also education, in the delivery of quality nutrition products, advice and customer focussed delivery, for both dogs and their people.”
Sales and marketing director, William Delamore, said: “We are thrilled to have Dr Jacqueline Boyd join our team, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience within animal science which can be put into practise here at Skinner’s in helping drive forward our Field and Trial Range and lead new product development.”
