The Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association (PFMA) has announced Pets at Home as its founding Associate Member.
PFMA is the active hub for pet food manufacturers and suppliers to network and engage in areas of mutual interest.
As part of the package PFMA offers expertise in nutrition and provides specialist training and knowledge support.
Michael Bellingham, PFMA chief executive, said: “We have worked with Pets at Home for a number of years in the animal welfare forums. Having them now onboard as an Associate Member presents really exciting opportunities particularly with regards to education for owners on pet nutrition.”
Pets at Home added: “This is an exciting opportunity for Pets at Home and we are delighted to be on board as an associate member.
“We look forward to the benefits that membership will bring, including closer collaboration with the PFMA, and manufacturers which will enable us to continue to deliver the very best products and services to our customers and of course their pets.”
