Postman Pooch launches PubGrub box for dogs

The group said the dog-friendly packaged, which contains snacks and drinks, would help to keep dogs occupied as owners return to pub gardens

Postman Pooch has launched a PubGrub box for dogs that “allows your dogs to enjoy a bottle of pup-peroni, a bottle of dog-friendly wino and some sweet and savoury snacks while you sit and enjoy a fresh pint or glass of G&T in the sun”.

The new launch coincides with this week’s reopenings of pubs and bars across the UK.

The dog brew themed box comes in various sizes, and contains bowls, toys, drinks and snacks, in a bid to “keep your four-legged friends entertained while you catch up with friends and family in your local pub”.

The box costs between £22 and £25, and customers can choose what items are included in the package.

Co-founder of Postman Pooch, Ben Millar said: “We’ve built a box to celebrate the reopening of pub beer gardens in England on the 12th April. Here at Postman Pooch we’re all about the pawty, and thought this was the perfect way to show some appreciation to the pooch’s that have kept us sane over the last year.

“This is for dogs that love beer gardens, or treats or even just to help keep dogs occupied while we get back to our more busier lives as they deserve it.”
