It unfurled the flags for a company celebration, at the Pear Tree Hotel, Hindlip, on 14 July, just a few miles from its headquarters in Rushock.
The international theme extended beyond the bunting to a fusion of cuisine, drinks, fun and games for the 34-strong workforce, their families and of course, their pet dogs.
Fish4Dogs was awarded the Queen’s Award in spring 2017, for its export success and rapid development of international markets.
In just six years, its overseas sales have grown 267 per cent and its exports increased to 60 percent of the company’s total sales. Fish4Dogs now operates in 31 countries including China, Japan, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Spain and Croatia.
The business was founded in 2005 and uses sustainable, responsibly sourced omega three-rich fish. Fish4Dogs also has an established breeder and consumer base in the UK, selling direct online and through pet shops.
Fish4Dogs CEO, Graham Smith said: “We have a relatively small workforce which is akin to family. It is through its hard work and determination, that Fish4Dogs has made enjoyed such phenomenal success.
“When the news was announced, the team marked the occasion with a little fizz and cake. Ironically, I was away in the Far East developing new business, so this was a chance for me to thank everyone personally, and to bring the team together with their loved ones to relax at the end of a working week, and enjoy a moment of celebration.”
