TRIXIE’s in-house trade fair in Tarp attracted 20 international sales partners and their 250 customers from 19 different countries. The event took place from 9 – 11 June, 2017 and focused upon ‘New Views – Fresh Perspectives’
The TRIXIE team welcomed guests from Germany and direct sales countries including France, the UK and, for the first time, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The new display area had been significantly expanded this year, thanks to the development of one of TRIXIE’s warehouses and the addition of the company’s new show room. The 1,200 metre square space featured new and tried-and-tested products.
Customers had the chance to request information on special items, series or projects. TRIXIE employees were on hand to answer questions, with co-exhibitors flexi, Interquell, Amora, Insect Shield®, Boneguard® and My Shop Radio.
Visitors received details on ‘Moving Images at the Point of Sale’ and were introduced to Insect Shield® technology, which locks insect protection firmly into products. Boneguard® tackled the issue of swallowing pieces of chewed bone. Workshops also received high levels of interest as did displays of Agility and Obedience from dogs and their handlers.
“It is really impressive that customers come from as far as the south of Germany and other European countries to visit us in Tarp”, said company director Volker Haak. “Here we have time for interesting and productive conversations in a pleasant atmosphere, and that is simply good fun.”
The feedback from the more than 1,300 national and international guests was positive. “And this,” added Volker Haak, “is always a pleasing acknowledgement, showing us that we are on the right track.”
