Animal Friends insurance ranked in Profit Track 100

Animal Friends were the only pet insurance company who earned a place on the The Sunday Times Profit Track 100.

To qualify for consideration for the profit Track 100, a company must report total profits of between £3m and £40m, total sales between £20m and £350m, and average three year profit growth of between 50 per cent and 180 per cent per annum.

Other listed companies included Krispy Kreme, Bill’s and Brewdog. Former ‘alumni’ of the list also include Dyson and Carphone Warehouse.

Animal Friends were ranked 79^th overall. Director of claims, Westley Pearson, said: “At Animal Friends we firmly believe that all pets deserve some level of cover so that they can get the treatment they need, should something happen to them.

“Our inclusion on this prestigious list goes to show that UK pet owners are increasingly conscious of the value of pet insurance, and we are immensely proud to be reporting this level of growth.
