Yorkshire’s multi-award winning pet care and well-being specialist The Dog Walker has won Best Small Company at the Harrogate Business Awards 2015.
The company founded in 2006 by Richie Womersley fought off tough competition to come top of its category at the prestigious awards ceremony that scours Harrogate and district for the best business talent.
Richie Womersley who was previously crowned Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013 said: ‘We are so thrilled to add Best Small Company to our award wins. The past year has seen significant growth for the business with the addition of franchises outside of Yorkshire and the appointment of an assistant director. I am so excited for what else 2015 will bring!’
The Dog Walker has previously won the regional Local Business Accelerator Award in Yorkshire and was named as a finalist in the Small Business of the Year categories at both the Yorkshire Post’s Excellence in Business awards and the York Press Business Awards.
Richie has grown the business to be Yorkshire’s largest pet care and well-being specialist with nine franchises. The company provides fully insured and registered care for customers’ pets in the stress-free environment of their own home.
