Lovejoys Launches a new Grain-Free Dry Food

Lovejoys is expanding its product range in response to independent retailer demand and launching Pure & Simple dry food.

The new grain-free products are available in 2kg and 12kg bags in three flavours: Turkey, Lamb and Salmon. The dry food uses sweet potato and fruit to provide all the dietary fibre a dog needs. It has a high fresh meat content, carefully formulated to provide protein levels not exceeding 28%.

Managing director of Lovejoys, Ian Manning said: ‘We are very excited about the Pure & Simple concept and we are confident that it will be another winner for us and the independent trade. Exceedingly high protein levels are beginning to cause digestive problems with some dogs. We are delighted that in trials, our new diets have given excellent results with high scores on palatability, digestibility, firm stools and improved coat condition’.

The new dry food as well as the Pure & Simple wet foods and Moments treats, will be on show at PATS Harrogate in hall B on stand G18.
