One of the UK’s biggest dog charities has announced it will offer free microchipping in all its centres.

Microchipping will be compulsory for all dogs in England by April 2016. Therefore, to ensure its accessibility, Dogs Trust is offering dog owners the chance to get their pets microchipped free of charge.

Dogs Trust will host microchipping sessions on selected dates on a drop in basis. Those who cannot make the dates can still get their dogs microchipped for free by calling their nearest centre and making an appointment.

Owners can bring more than one dog to the events. Puppies can be chipped, but it is strongly recommended that they are fully vaccinated.
