Dragon gives Wagging Tails Twitter boostHampshire-based pet care company Wagging Tails recently received a business boost from Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis.

Wagging Tails’ MD Lisa Suswain ‘tweeted’ Theo to tell him about her business during his weekly ‘Small Business Sunday’ initiative.

Paphitis re-tweeted the message to his 300,000+ followers, resulting in hundreds more followers and website visits for the business. Wagging Tails is now also profiled on a new website exclusive to Small Business Sunday winners.

Lisa Suswain, who runs Wagging Tails with her husband, Jim, said: “We set up our home dog boarding company in 2007 and the business is going from strength to strength with lots of very happy dogs getting a holiday of their own with one of our carers. It’s especially popular with rescue dogs who would find kennels particularly stressful. Demand for our service has led to us franchising the business and we currently have seven franchises with more available nationwide. It is great to have support from Theo, especially as, to date, Wagging Tails is the only pet care company to win this award.”
