Park Life Pet, a member of the Pet Industry Federation (PIF), has released a range of Mini Eggs designed for dogs.

The treats are soft-baked and utilise carob, a dog-safe ingredient, to provide a chocolate-style flavour without theobromine, the compound in cocoa that is toxic to canines.

The grain-free eggs are formulated without added sugar or salt, targeting pets with sensitive stomachs.

Due to their texture, the treats are suitable for puppies from eight weeks old as well as senior dogs.

The pouches, which contain two different egg designs, are priced at £4 and are available via the company’s website.

The launch follows the brand’s Happy Belly Promise, a nutritional standard established by founder Richard Marles.

Marles started the business in 2018 after his family’s Golden Labrador, Penny, suffered digestive issues from mainstream treats.

The company, which appeared on Dragons’ Den in 2024, has since expanded its range into independent retailers and garden centres across the UK and Ireland.

The Easter collection utilises 100% recyclable packaging, aligning with the firm’s stated goal to maintain planet-kind production practices.

Marles said: “Our dream is to be the world’s most loved dog treat brand. By using carob, we can deliver a familiar flavour without the harmful effects of chocolate. This allows owners to include their dogs in springtime traditions safely and responsibly.”
