The Norwegian Armed Forces has awarded Non-Stop Dogwear a $4m (£3.2m) contract to supply equipment for its K-9 division over the next four years.
The deal will be delivered through the company’s Non-Stop professional division, which develops products for military, police, and search and rescue services.
It includes the supply of harnesses, leashes, booties, cages, training gear and veterinary equipment for military working dogs.
It is the first time the company has independently bid for a large-scale government tender, marking what it described as an expansion of its role in the defence and security sector.
Kristoffer Grøtan Olsen, founder of Non-Stop Dogwear and chief executive of Non-stop professional, said: “Testing our gear in the toughest conditions means we can deliver equipment that handlers and dogs can rely on, whether in military operations or everyday service.”
The company said its equipment is built to withstand extreme conditions, undergoing strength and materials testing to ensure it can handle the weight and force of working dogs in demanding environments.
Non-Stop Dogwear, based in Norway, has previously supplied equipment to police and military units in Europe, Asia and beyond, as well as to search and rescue teams across Scandinavia.
