Prefera Petfood acquires The Pack
The deal will see The Pack founders Damien Clarkson and Judy Nadel join the Prefera team to drive the growth of the brand across the UK and Europe
Prefera Petfood has announced that it has acquired alternative UK-based protein petfood business The Pack.
The Pack launched in 2021 primarily selling direct to consumer and in 2022 it was selected for Mars Petcare backed accelerator Leap Ventures.
The brand became the first in the world to sell a cultivated meat product for dogs with the launch of its treats Chick Bites at Pets at Home.
The deal will see The Pack founders Damien Clarkson and Judy Nadel join the Prefera team to drive the growth of the brand across the UK and Europe.
Clarkson said: “In joining Prefera Petfood The Pack is going to be able to create the next generation of highly nutritious products for pets. We are excited to combine our skills with the world class production talent assembled by Prefera and look forward to seeing the brand grow greatly in the coming years.”
