Lichfield-based pet care business, First For Pets, has announced that it is now available for acquisition.

The business has been operating since 2019 and is now on the market for £84,995 or nearest offer.

First For Pets generates an annual turnover of £176,675 and an annual gross profit of £80,474, with the most recent accounts dated 30 April 2024.

The business offers a comprehensive range of services, including dog walking, pet and house sitting, dog daycare and home boarding, cat and small animal care, pet transport, pet taxi and animal ambulance services, as well as pet cremation.

Operating as a home-based business, services are provided either from the owner’s home or within clients’ homes.

There is significant potential for expansion, whether by increasing service coverage or introducing additional offerings such as pet grooming or training.

Any sale will include over 2,000 client and prospect contacts, a DEFRA-registered pet transport van with secure crates, a fully operational website and an experienced freelance pet care team.

The business is a member of the Pet Industry Federation meaning it upholds industry best practices and high standards of care.
