Pet advertising platform Find Your Paws has announced a recruitment drive for dedicated cat and dog breeders.

The initiative aims to expand the platform’s network of responsible breeders, ensuring that prospective pet owners have access to “healthy and well-cared-for animals”.

As pet ownership continues to rise across the UK and with rehoming and adoption numbers at an all time post-pandemic high, there is a growing demand for ethically bred cats and dogs.

Breeders who join findyourpaws.co.uk will have access to a “user-friendly” platform that allows them to create detailed profiles showcasing their breeding practices, expertise and available litters.

Through the platform, breeders can get verified, receive vet-certified health check recommendations and easily schedule pet visits with potential owners, directly into their calendar.

In addition to facilitating connections between breeders and pet seekers, the platform provides valuable resources and educational materials to help both parties make informed decisions about pet ownership and breeding.

Francesca Rossi, co-founder of findyourpaws.co.uk, said: “We’re excited to invite passionate cat and dog breeders to join our platform and be part of our mission to promote responsible pet ownership.”

Lauren Smith, co-founder, added: “By joining our community, breeders will have the opportunity to showcase their commitment to animal welfare and connect with individuals and families who are looking to provide loving homes to pets.”
