Jollyes has opened its 101st store in the UK with its latest opening in Rotherham.

The new store has created 10 new jobs and is managed by Cat Wildey who’s moved from Jollyes’ Doncaster store.

Wildey has worked for Jollyes for 19 years, starting out as supervisor in Selby and after a year was promoted to deputy manager moving across to the Sheffield store.

Fittingly the store was opened by Mayor Cllr Robert Taylor, Cruella de Vil, a dalmatian mascot and local Rotherham ‘Ambassa-dogs’ Fenrir and Daisy.

Kerry Midgley, regional manager, said “We’re delighted to have opened the store and begun serving pet parents in and around Rotherham. We’d like to thank Mayor Robert Taylor and his team for joining us to give the store a brilliant launch – and of course all the dalmatians that joined us on opening day!”

This latest opening comes after Jollyes was sold by Kester Capital to TDR Capital giving it more scope for expansion.
