Logans Natural treats launches new Slippery Elm Bark for Dogs

The treats are also rich in Vitamin A,C and K and are a source of calcium, magnesium and sodium

Logans Natural Treats has launched its new Slippery Elm Bark for dogs.

The new treat is derived from the North American Elm tree that has numerous health benefits for dogs and has also been consumed by humans as a herbal supplement.

The Slippery Elm Bark can be used both internally and externally. When digested it creates a gooey substance called mucilage that soothes and coats the mucous membranes lining the digestive tract, “promoting healthy digestion, and reducing inflammation”.

Externally, it can be mixed with cold water to create a soothing paste that can heal wounds, ulcers, boils, burns and skin inflammation.

Logans Natural Treats was launched in 2021 by Liam and Jenna Logan (husband & wife team) following their quest to source “better treats” for their then 10 year old cocker spaniel Oscar.

Since the launch the group has grown to stock over 70 natural treats and recently launched their own range of doggy supplements.
