Anicura has announced the launch of its new skincare line for dogs and cats to mark National Pet Month this year.

The brand specialises in creating “high quality” pet skincare products, helping dogs and cats which are prone to itchy skin and other conditions.

Both Anicura’s respective ranges for dogs and cats are priced from £9.99 and £13.99 for a product.

Said products include shampoo, conditioner, spray, gel ointment and repellant, and are free from the likes of steroids, antibiotics, cortisones or paraffin.

In a statement, Anicura said: “Anicura products are designed for one purpose and one purpose only – to help your pet have a healthy skin and coat.

“We believe that choosing natural products for your pet’s skin shouldn’t mean you have to compromise on effectiveness. This is why we believe in the principle of homeostasis; the idea that the body and skin will find its own balance if given the right nutrients and care.”

They added: “We will always avoid ingredients that are widely accepted to be unsuitable for sensitive or problem skin.”
