Wilsons Pet Food has announced it is extending its range of eco-friendly dog food, following its successful launch last year.

The new range’s aim is to contribute to environmental sustainability by reducing the use of plastic in the production of pet food product packaging.

The range will include three new flavours: Highland Venison and Trout, Farmhouse Turkey and Duck, and Wild White Fish.

Craig Wallace, managing director at Wilsons, said: “We are very fortunate to have such loyal and supportive customers.

“The changes we have made to our products and packaging ensure we are sticking to our values of crafting dog food with the best quality processes and ingredients which are selected for their tangible benefits to both dog and owner.”

He added: “And as always, proudly made in Britain. It has been a herculean effort by the Wilsons team to ensure we have done everything we can to create eco-friendly packaging whilst also ensuring the food itself is truly good for dogs.”
