Dogs Trust Cardiff has announced it has received a donation worth £19,000 from the PetPlan Charitable Trust.

The money will go towards funding a kennel at the charity’s new state-of-the-art rehoming centre in South Wales.

The expected completion date for the centre is April 2021.

The booked kennels block will provide a secure facility for dogs before they are adopted and will feature 16 standard Dogs Trust kennels, one of which has been funded by PPCT.

Aimee Pitchford, the charity’s Trusts and Foundations Officer, said: “Thanks to your wonderful support, we have been able to continue building to original plans, ensuring we include the very best of equipment and facilities for our dogs, including a hydrotherapy suite, variety of exercise areas and a puppy suite.”
