In short order after the acquisition by expert Reptile Wholesalers ‘Monkfield Nutrition’, Arcadia Reptile has now opened its brand new ‘Science and Innovation Centre’ in the heart of the West Sussex countryside.

This new centre will allow John Courteney-Smith MRSB and the Arcadia Reptile team to focus on ever improving animal welfare within the reptile, bird and zoo sectors.

John says: “It is so exciting to be able to move into our new home. We have everything that we need at our fingertips to be able to not only observe animal behaviour but to really get to grips with some of the historic and emerging frustrations that animal keepers have faced.

“We have a very modern animal room, dedicated photography studio and an energy efficient office which will allow us to greatly increase our range of educational materials and social media presence.

“Our aim to use our core theory of ‘Wild Re-Creation™’ to formulate, design and release ‘Effective’ and ‘Ethical’ new products that really make a difference to animal welfare standards. It is still, as ever our intention to start and maintain a ‘Revolution in Reptile care.”
