Established horse rug brand Masta is launching a new label for smaller pets, Woofmasta.

The company is using its many years’ experience creating tough, safe, problem-solving horsewear utilising the latest technologies to create designs for dogs.

“This was a logical next step for us,” says Woofmasta’s Rachel Bowles. “Masta has brilliant designers who’ve won numerous awards for making rugs that better serve the health care and comfort of horses.

“Now we are putting the same brilliant team to work for dogs.”

Woofmasta goods will be available from over 70 saddlery and pet stores around the country, with additional outlets welcomed, and from www.masta.co.uk

Protechmasta infra-red dog coat, which launches with this spring, has ceramic within the thread used as a therapeutic effect which reduces inflammation, aids recovery, and reduces stress and anxiety.

Field tested and recommended by vets, the equine version of this rug lately won a trade award for innovation.
