Squire’s Garden Centre in Badshot Lea has celebrated the opening of its new Pets & Aquatics Centre.

At a ‘Pets & Aquatics’ launch event in late January, families and children came to meet pets. Carefully supervised volunteers held spiders. Children could paint a bunny moneybox, and people came to get their dogs micro-chipped, and to receive free veterinary advice from Carthcart and Winn Veterinary Clinic.

Following an investment of more than £100,000, Squire’s has combined a new look and layout, fish houses with one of the large selections of fish in the area, and free weighing scales for dogs.

The selection of animals includes rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, tropical fish and snakes to name but a few.
