New fellows for Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) will celebrate success within the industry by honouring four Canine Health Schemes (CHS) scrutineers with fellowships.

The fellowships recognise veterinary surgeons who have contributed to clinical practice, veterinary knowledge or the veterinary profession. They have done so by showing leadership and advancing knowledge and public understanding of veterinary science.

The British Veterinary Association (BVA)/Kennel Club CHS scrutineer teams work across four programmes screening dogs for hereditary conditions. This helps breeders to decide which dogs to include in their breeding programmes.
