Wilsons Pet Food has launched its new range of raw frozen dog food.

Each recipe contains a “balanced and nutritious” range of human-grade meat or fish and vegetables all sourced locally where possible.

Wilsons added that additional recipes will also be added throughout the year to “reflect the quality and depth of Scottish seasonal produce and will include key ingredients such as venison and pheasant.”

Wilsons Raw Frozen meals can be fed as a standalone diet but they have also been designed to complement Wilsons Cold Pressed Range and are suitable for dogs that like a mixture of wet and dry food.

The range also comes in 500g resealable pouches which can be resealed for “freshness once defrosted and stored in the fridge.”.

Dan Griffin, head of sales, said: “We’re very excited to add Raw Frozen to our well established product range. Raw frozen and cold pressed can be fed alone or together which makes them complement each other so well.

“With the quality of the product, the fact it’s sourced and produced in the UK and with our unique introduction of the humanised menu, it’s a winning combination for the Pet Food Market.”
