The Pet Industry Federation (PIF) has announced it will launch a seminar on canine behaviour in a group setting, aimed at businesses such as dog daycares, home boarders and dog walkers.

Taking place on Sunday 14 July at Willow Tree Canine Daycare in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, the day-long seminar will be delivered by Yvonne Mackender of the Centre of Applied Pet Ethology.

The day will aim to cover assessing temperament, introducing dogs to established groups, how dogs learn and communicate, as well as including practical observations of dogs in a group environment and intervention tactics.

The seminar costs £125 for non-members and £100 for PIF members and includes refreshments and a CPD certificate to evidence a ttendance.
