Waterless, a UK-based manufacturer of waterless cleaning and hygiene products, has launched a new product in its Nilaqua Pets range with the introduction of a cleansing micellar water designed for use on dogs.
The water-based, oil-free formula is intended for cleaning sensitive areas such as around the eyes, mouth and skin folds, without the need for rinsing.
The product is applied using cotton pads rather than as a spray or wash.
According to Waterless, the formula includes chamomile and does not contain sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) or parabens.
The product was developed for regular use on areas prone to staining or build-up.
The micellar water is produced using renewable energy, while the packaging is made from recycled ocean-bound plastic and is fully recyclable.
The product is available individually and as part of a kit, which includes four reusable bamboo cotton pads.
Waterless said the launch followed its receipt of a PetQuip Silver Award for Sustainability earlier this year.
