Zooomy to launch at PATS NEC Birmingham

Zooomy, a new veterinary-developed joint supplement for pets, is set to debut at PATS NEC Birmingham later this month.

Created by veterinary surgeons Humphrey and Joanna Grimmett, is a liquid formula using long-chain hyaluronic acid, an ingredient associated with healthy joint function in horses, dogs and cats.

The husband-and-wife team, based in Buckinghamshire, began developing Zooomy after using similar supplements to support their own animals. The product was originally formulated for horses before being adapted for dogs and cats in 2024.

Zooomy is presented in four pack sizes, namely 60ml for cats, and 100ml, 250ml and 500ml for dogs, and includes a syringe for ease of use. The liquid can be added to food or administered directly.

The product, marketed through their company EquiFlow Ltd, was first launched under the name CaniFlow before being rebranded as Zooomy in 2025. 

It is currently sold online via Shopify and Amazon, with more than 1,200 repeat customers each month.

Zooomy will be showcased at PATS NEC Birmingham on 28–30 September, where it has also been entered into the New Product Showcase.

Humphrey Grimmett said: “Zooomy hyaluronic acid is manufactured by microbial fermentation which is a laboratory process giving a product with no protein, fat or sugars and chain lengths that are consistently approaching 1 million Daltons in length.  

“This is the type of hyaluronic acid that the clinical studies in humans and animals have been performed with.  Additionally, as a largely tasteless, odourless liquid, Zooomy is easily added to a pet’s food or squirted directly into their mouths; the amount you give can also be adjusted easily as regularly as you like.”
