Vancouver-based startup Kissamo has launched its bespoke acrylic pet tags in the UK, offering free shipping as part of its international expansion.
Founded in 2019 by designer Laurel Murray, Kissamo specialises in lightweight, weatherproof tags crafted from acrylic rather than traditional metal.
The material is designed to be durable, silent and available in a range of vivid colours and finishes, including iridescent hologram designs.
The company’s tags are cut and engraved in-house using laser technology, with designs ranging from simple geometric shapes to more elaborate pop art-inspired motifs.
Kissamo sells directly to customers online and now ships to the UK, North America, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand, with free delivery available in North America and the UK.
Murray said: “The company’s aim is to modernise the pet tag market. I noticed during lockdown that traditional metal tags could rust, get noisy and wear down quickly, so I set out to design an alternative that balanced durability with creativity.”
