The PIF teams up with Hadlow College

The Pet Industry Federation (PIF) and Hadlow College will be working in partnership to manage the dog grooming school based at Hadlow in Kent. The Hadlow PIF Dog Grooming School will offer industry-recognised City & Guilds qualifications.

The venture is the first of its kind. ‘This enterprise provides an excellent opportunity for new and existing groomers,’ said Nigel Baker, Chief Executive of the Pet Industry Federation.

‘PIF has created a unique link between further education and industry, which will ensure the highest standards of teaching and facilitate access for newly qualified groomers to industry. Our qualified grooming assistants and professional groomers will be fully equipped with the skills and knowledge to enter the workplace and offer the highest quality grooming and care for the British public’s dogs.’
